Playing Church

Sarah and her doll Sarah are playing like they just dropped off the baby's in the nursery and are now in church singing to God.

Leah has nursery duty today. Looks like she has her hands full. But she is loving it.

Now its time for children's church.
I wonder when we sing to God do we worry about the face we make do we hold on to our friends hand and love them even though they wear the same outfit everyday? Do we work hard and serve God with out complaining no matter how crazy it gets? Do we sing songs and learn about God with excitement and are we glad to be with our brothers and sisters in Christ all shapes, all sizes, color, and hear styles? do we help them sit up right for church with love and tenderness? Just wondering................Thank God for our body. Thank you for those who sing to you with a love that has no shame. Thank you for those who serve and when they serve they worship you through it. Thank you God for all the parts of the body not matter the shape, size, color, or look of the vessel, and thank you for those who love them no matter what.

Peace like a Dove

We all love to watch the birds at our house; we have so many kinds. We have lots of humming birds and even some bald eagles. But our favorites are the doves that come every year. Leah and I watched them eat the seeds off the ground today. They didn't hit the feeder to make the seed come out, they just came and ate what was there. Even though there were stellar jays all over and the doves just flew in and ate. Most of the time when the jays come on the scene, no other bird comes around, but when the doves are there, everyone seems to be at peace. The jays behave and even the little chickadees come around. Just thought it was very interesting. We are thankful for the Doves today. We are thankful everyday for the Holy Spirit who gives us peace even when evil is around us.

Botanical Conservatory

In researching for an upcoming project ( God willing ) my mom and I took the girls to The conservatory at Wright Park in Tacoma. It was very nice. We will let you know if we are going to have a conservatory that grows God's Word in art..........

We are blessed to have such a wonderful Grandma!

Best Friends

We are so thankful that the girls are so close. Leah was trying to eat her crackers last night and Sarah just couldn't get enough of her baby sister. Sarah "Mommy we are best friends!"
"I love my baby sister."
