Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. At our house we read for about 6 days leading up the Thanksgiving the true story of Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful blessing and great to remember the Christin roots of our country and have an understanding of why we have been so blessed. We Pray that our country will come back to God and understand our need for repentants and faith in Christ.
Peter and the girls and I went to Peter Mom and Dad's house. We had a great time with friends and family. Here are some pictures of "The Cousins" the girls call them. This is only 12 of them Lolo (grandpa) and Lola (grandma) have 6 more. And two great grand baby's. (in top picture) Thank the Lord for them all. We love them very much. P.S. You know the food was good!

Peter and Heather Date.

Peter and I had a date and went fishing and saw a dear swimming (can't tell you where it's Peter's secrete fishing spot) The picture is him coming out of the water but all you could see was his head at first. It was very cool. We had a great time hanging out together. I am thankful for Peter and for Grandma watching the girls so we could go.

Papa's Birthday!

We have so many Birthdays this time of year. Papa had a great time with the girls and some cake. We are so thankful to have Papa so close that he can come right over for cake.

Grandma has been working a lot but we are thankful for the new friends she has and for the time she is home that she comes out and plays.

What a blessing to have them both here!

Where was Peter?

Peter Paul Gonza Pancho! Who knew but the mind of God that that little boy would be a slave of Jesus Christ! I for one thank the Lord for this "surprise" last baby of seven, "trouble maker" was born! Peter today is a wonderful husband and daddy and most of all a witness for Christ. Thank you God for the blessing that Peter is to his family. Isn't he beautiful?

Yard Work

Our yard work this year. Sarah and Leah helped mommy pick rocks and move dirt (not always to the right place) it took us a long time to get this fare. We have a long way to go. But the grass should be up in a few more days on the dirt part you can see here. Peter used the tiller to turn the dirt over and that was the only motorised equipment we have used. Our goal was to fix the yard with out spending money. The yard before sloped into the house the dry creek is not just for looks its actually a drain. So we also wanted to fix the water problem. The rocks in the Creek are almost all from the yard. I will post the other part of the yard as we start to work on it, we have a lot more rock! We are thankful for our health and ability to fix the yard with our spending money. I will up date when yard is complete.

Sarah's Birthday!

Today our sweet Sarah turned 5 years old. Great grandma sent the girls $5.00 each so they could get 4 things at the dollar store and give the change at church then Papa pitched in $2.00 they had lots of thing to get. You can see the cool things they got in the October pictures.
So for Sarah's day we had pancakes (her favorite) and went to the dollar store all together. The girls shopped with mommy and daddy. Then we went to the Solid Rock Cafe (Christian place in Port Orchard) to get ice cream, the nice lady gave the girls balloons. It was a great time. Daddy went to work and we headed home to play with our new cool things. Sarah had a great time with the growing princess too.
Leah was so sweet with one of her dollars she got Sarah a pink bunny. She is so sweet too. Thank God for giving us our big 5 year old!

Good by Friend.

Well Puppy Ruff Ruff died just now. We did all we could he save him. He was a wonderful puppy the time that we had him. Please pray for my dad who was the closest to him. Princess is all better it seems, she is eating and playing like puppies do. She will miss her brother as we will. Please pray for us to be able to teach the girls about death and be about to explain things the way God would have us. Thank you.

What have we been doing.....

I have not been doing a good job of keeping the blog up dated. Here are a few things that have been going on. Mommy had a birthday too. See pictures for more. VBS was wonderful! The girls are still singing the songs they learned. It was a blessing to mommy too to be Sally's helper I don't know if I was any help but it was wonderful to hear her heart for the kids and her strong faith in Christ and His salvation. We have seen some wonderful friends that make us smile. This is Grandma Myers, one of Sarah's favorite people.
The girls have had fun with the Myers boys. We would like to see them more...
We had friends over to play.
We spent time at the Ray Pancho home. Where we have the best Aunties. Elisabeth and Tarah had a wonderful birthday party and we just love spending time with them.

So may more blessings. We are most thankful for God's provition right now and always for Jesus.

Thankful For Peter

Because I have not been keeping up with the blog, I'm going to go back over some highlights. As for Peter... He spent 4 day in prison! This is Peter's 4Th time to go in with KIROS ministry of cores. This time Peter was a leader and taught his class on what it is to be a Christian. His presentation was quite powerful from what some of the men who where there told me. Peter is very modest or humble about his service for the Lord, but one man told me that he has been going to McNeil Island prison ministry for years and that "it was the most powerful talk he has ever heard; it effected both inmates and KIROS members. Peter will only pray that God will use His truth to convert souls.
Our church ( discoverybaptist.org) has started S.A.L.T. groups (Saints Applying Living Truth to further apply the Sunday message for the week) Peter is the leader for our group. The church has 4 groups. Peter has about 21+ people in his group (counting kids) We dig deeper into the Sunday message and grow together as a group as we learn to apply to our everday lives, the truths that God has reveled in His word . We also have wonderful fellowship time together.

Peter will be playing the guitar for the Clark wedding tomorrow. He has never played for a wedding before. He was in a band a long time ago but its not the same. We are so happy for Hannah and Willy and baby Gabe. We pray that the wedding will be a blessing to all and that the marriage through all the days of their lives will be a blessing to all and be a picture of Christ and His bride the church. So Peter will not like me talking about him this much but thought I would update everyone.

I will be posting more in the next few days. Please join us in praying for the seeds that were planted in McNeil prison, for spiritual growth in our SALT groups, and God's blessing on the soon to be Clark family. We love you all. May Jesus be your Lord. Thank the Lord for the many ways He is at work in Peter's life! We are so thankful for Peter.

Family Photo

I have not been good about updating our blog! Kathy Hall took this picture of us on Father's Day. She is so wonderful. Peter is the best daddy and we are so blessed as a family. God is good to us hard times and good times.... So I guess today we are thankful for the body of Christ (our brothers and sisters ) and for his blessings and provision. We are so glad that God is in control.
